Pickled Grapes

1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 cup granulated white sugar
2 tsp. Chinese Five Spice 
1 lb. red grapes, halved 


Stir together all ingredients except the grapes in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, stir, and let cool. Place grapes in a bowl and pour cooled mixture over grapes. Store in refrigerator for up to 24 hours prior to serving. Pairs wonderfully with soft cheeses.
