Blowing Rock Art & History Museum is hosting a unique, landmark exhibition by noted stickworks sculptor and NC native Patrick Dougherty. Entitled Pilgrimage, the artist’s installment at BRAHM showcases nine large sculptural pieces of vessels, masks, and wall-mounted forms, according to Asher Davidson, communications and marketing coordinator for the museum. “The exhibition also highlights the collaborative spirit that underpins each of Patrick’s ephemeral installations, prominently featuring more than 150 pairs of work gloves he used during projects and later had his volunteers sign,” Davidson notes. Through May 17, 2026.
