Winter Warmer 2010

Saturday, January 23 Nearly 900 craft brew fans attended this sold-out event presented by Asheville Brews Cruise at the Haywood Park Hotel. Guests sampled beer from 20 regional breweries, including Appalachian Craft, Green Man Ales, and Wedge. The crowd cheered on Tres Hundertmark of The Lobster Trap as he tried to set the world record for oyster shucking—he came close. A portion of the ticket sales benefited RiverLink, a nonprofit dedicated to the revitalization of the French Broad River.
