Over 300 animal lovers were swept away to the cabaret during “A Night at the Moulin Rouge,” the Asheville Humane Society’s 13th Annual Taste of Compassion gala presented by Animal Hospital of North Asheville. Over $200,000 was raised to benefit local animals. The event included dancing, wine from Mutual Distributing, vegetarian hors d’oeuvres, and music by vintage jazz band Sparrow and her Wingmen.
