Originally, Reevestock began as a charitable event to raise money for the Reeves Theater; now in its twelfth year, this two-day music festival serves as a fundraiser for the Reevestock Scholarship Fund, a grant available to Elkin, East Wilkes, and Starmount high school seniors looking to continue their education at any 2-year program, 4-year program, or technical school. It’s home to performances by up-and-coming artists like alt-country folk musician Mamma Molasses, and jazz group Dreamroot.
