OpenMinds, OpenDoors Benefit

Saturday, February 20: Artists showed their support for OpenDoors of Asheville by donating works for the new nonprofit’s inaugural fund-raiser at YMI Cultural Center. Guests bid on pieces by Benjamin Betsalel, Werner Haker, and Nava Lubelski, among others, and enjoyed music by Cabo Verde. The event raised more than $25,000 to provide at-risk children with opportunities for higher learning.
