Jackie & Matt

Jackie Lineberger and Matt Henrikson come from different regions of the US. While Jackie was raised in Macon, GA, in the same home her whole life, Matt was born outside of Portland, OR, and his family moved all around the country throughout his childhood. After attending colleges on opposite sides of the country, Jackie and Matt found themselves in Dallas, TX, both looking to build their careers in the DFW metroplex. With the help of Jackie’s friends and family, Matt pulled off a surprise proposal during a big weekend in Dallas surrounded by loved ones in the backyard of their first home decorated with flowers and candles. 

Jackie and Matt knew they wanted to get married after a vacation with Jackie’s family in Sylva. Exactly one year after Matt proposed, Jackie and Matt read their personally-written vows to one another. Hurricane Idalia sent scattered storms earlier in the week, but those all cleared, leaving a dreamy September day behind for the wedding. The limelight hydrangeas and the Blue Ridge Mountains were showing off alongside a spectacular ceremony and reception, complemented with florals galore along with the blue specialty bar and stage. The big day ended with a sparkler-lit getaway in the back of a white Ford Bronco, which kicked off their travels to their honeymoon in Greece the next day.
