The Organic Growers School has been supporting the farming community of the Southern Appalachians for more than 30 years, with the conference being a manifestation of the School’s mission. According to Chris Peterson, conference coordinator, the conference’s classes and workshops run all day, and will focus on several areas of interest, including cooking, farming business, farming production, Earth stewardship, food justice, gardening, permaculture, forest farming, herbs, living on the land, mushrooms, and soils.
