It’s Time: Submit Your Real Weddings, Bridal Showers, Rehearsal Dinners & Wedding Weekend Events

It's Time!

Submissions for WNC Weddings’s Spring/Summer 2025 edition are open! Submit between November 21-December 9, to be considered.

WNC Weddings is seeking submissions for our upcoming Spring/Summer 2025 issue, to debut in early March 2025. We’re devoted to local inspiration, and love to feature a variety of weddings. We especially love weddings that are simple yet sophisticated, with thoughtful and meaningful details.

We’d love to consider your real-life weddings, showers, luncheons, rehearsal dinners, or inspired shoots that took place in Western North Carolina in between May 2023-May 2024. Submissions should be visually compelling and rich with inspiring ideas and details for future celebrants.

Part of a couple’s wedding story is the team that got them down the aisle, from vows to their sparkler exit from the reception. As a guide, we strive to introduce newly engaged couples to these superior vendors (and venues) that show off the best of Western North Carolina.

Note: Before sharing any event or wedding, obtain written permission from the couple, and ensure they will be available for our writers and fact-checking staff to contact in a timely fashion.

When submitting photography, please add about 50-100 high-resolution images (at least 900 pixels wide, 72 dpi). Also, ensure the folder is labeled with your company name and the name of the couple. If you have not completed the Google form, please compose a brief write-up of the wedding, including the location and date; full names of the couple; their contact information; key vendor names (venue, photographer, planner, cake, florals, decor, fashion, hair and makeup, stationery) and contact information; a short description of the event--the theme, the look, and feel. We're especially interested in any inspiring design elements and personal touches. INCLUDE A LINK with passwords to any larger online galleries.

Other publications and blogs often include Western North Carolina on their pages and sites—who can blame them? It’s gorgeous here and talent abounds! However, to ensure that we are serving our readers well by bringing them fresh material, we prefer to publish weddings, events, and content that has not been published elsewhere.

Got a wedding-related news tip about anything new or up-and-coming in WNC? We’d love to consider newsworthy stories as well. Please email tips to weddings@wncmagazine.com
