This event is all about celebrating bees, pollinators and honey. Representatives for The Center for Honeybee Research (CHBR) and Shanti Elixirs will be on hand to answer questions. This family-fun event boasts crafts vendors, music, food and drink, with kids’ activities and learning opportunities. Additionally, there will be honey-tasting sampling stations for attendees. Entertainment will be provided by the group Queen Bee & the Honeylovers, a swing band; the Barsters, a bluegrass and mountain music band; Chikomo Marimba, a Zimbabwean Marimba group based out of Asheville; and Sol Driven Train. All the proceeds will benefit CHBR to go toward saving pollinators. » Salvage Station, 466 Riverside Dr.; Sunday, 12 a.m.-6 p.m.; $15, kids under 12, teachers, first responders, free; (828) 407-0521; www.salvagestation.com
