Mélange of the Mountains

March 26, 2015 A culinary showcase and benefit for the Haywood County Chamber of Commerce, Mélange of the Mountains turned up the heat with a cook-off between eight Haywood County chefs and competition between three local brewers. Haywood Smokehouse took top honors. Following the judging, attendees got to sample bites and sips from 21 participants. The event served as a kickoff to a weekend of specialty dinners, culinary demos, beer and wine tastings.
