Jazz for Justice

March 17, 2015 Held at The Venue in Asheville, Jazz for Justice raised funds for Pisgah Legal Services, a nonprofit law firm that aids more than 14,000 low-income people in WNC each year. Some 300 guests enjoyed drinks from Appalachian Vintner and Oskar Blues, gourmet food, and live jazz by One Leg Up. An awards ceremony honored Jane Swafford, Edward Hay, and Kitty Schaller for their outstanding volunteer work with the organization.
