This annual gala for the Hickory Museum of Art celebrates more than eight decades of preserving American art. Established in 1944, there were fewer than 10 works collected that year. Currently, the museum boasts more than 1,500 pieces in its collection. This year’s motif is “The Art of Architecture,” and the fundraiser takes place at the grand ballroom at Hickory Metro and Convention Center.
