These annual games celebrating Scottish heritage kick off Thursday afternoon, but things really get going at the torchlight ceremony that night, when more than 100 clans announce their family’s participation. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are all about competing: traditional heavyweight Scottish athletic events, highland dancing competitions; piping; drumming; and harp contests; and more.
