Fire on the Mountain

April 26, 2014 Held in downtown Spruce Pine, this annual street festival presented nearly 25 skilled blacksmiths, including Scott Lankton, this year’s featured artist. Demonstrations were held throughout the day, and vendors sold works of art as well as tools of the trade. A hands-on tent hosted by Penland School of Crafts welcomed all ages.
