One of the founders and titans of Asheville’s craft brewing scene, Highland Brewing Company, has some special celebrating to do this winter. That’s because Cold Mountain Winter Ale, the limited-run annual spiced beer that has a zealous fanbase, is turning 25 with special events and new twists on the beloved brew.
