A work of collaborative interest between The Appalachian Theatre of The High Country and faculty from Appalachian State University intent on creating a space to showcase “authentic stories about the beauty and complexity of Appalachian life and culture that extends beyond common stereotypes,” the festival will feature 11 short films sourced through careful selection from six different Appalachian states.
