Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show

Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show

June 4-7 » Blowing Rock

The first of three equestrian competitions held each summer, the Saddlebred class at the prestigious Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show welcomes a breed known for its high-stepping animation, proud carriage, and special gaits. Marked by hospitality and showmanship, this world-class U.S. Equestrian Federation Heritage Competition garners energetic cheers from the stands as spectators root for their favorites. Held since 1923, the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show remains the oldest continuous outdoor horse show in the nation. And as it has for more than a century, the beloved event maintains a deep-seated dedication to charity, reigning in millions for local nonprofits in support of causes like healthcare, education, and environmental conservation. Hunter/jumper classes take the ring in July and August. » L.M.
