Celebrating its 10th year, the mountain city’s Resolution Run 5k and 10k will commence in downtown, the course both visually and physically stimulating. Strollers and pets are welcome, with proceeds benefiting the Asheville Humane Society. Register before December 10 and get a free Resolution Run T-shirt, along with a commemorative mug. Kids 12 and under get discounted pricing; there are overall and age group awards, along with cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers of the professionally chip-timed 10k.
