See the agricultural abundance of Western North Carolina at the annual ASAP Farm Tour, presented by the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP), a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting local farms and fostering community health through connections to local food. This year, the weekend-long event will feature 21 local farms in the Asheville area. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage with working farms through guided tours and demonstrations, experience firsthand interactions with farm animals, participate in u-pick activities for fruits and flowers, and indulge in tastings of local food and beverages provided by the farms. Several farms will offer tours conducted in Spanish, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all visitors.
