Apple Relish
2 large Granny Smith apples, cored & cubed 1 large dill pickle, chopped 1 medium onion, diced 1/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
In a bowl, combine apples, pickles, and onions. In a separate bowl, combine sugar and vinegar, and mix until sugar dissolves. Toss with chopped fruit and vegetables. Chill in refrigerator for at least one hour before serving. (Dawn recommends serving apple relish with crackers or chips, or as a side to pork roast or Thanksgiving dinner.)
