OpenDoors of Asheville’s annual (black-tie-optional) gala raises funds to support the organization’s efforts to help underserved youth break the cycle of multigenerational poverty. For 2017, the event is all about the city’s artistic flare and, fittingly, will be held at the newly revitalized Foundation in the River Arts District. Enjoy local food and entertainment, and bid on works from more than 75 regional artists in an auction led by Antiques Roadshow alum Andrew Brunk.
