Born and raised in Maine, I attended Franklin Pierce College (now University) in southern New Hampshire. My main foucs was technical theater but as the semesters went on I became more and more interested in creating objects. It was here that I first saw and tried blowing glass. For the next few years I roamed around the north east working in several production studios. In the spring of 2008 I took a job as the studio technician at the Penland School of Craft. The vast resources at Penland have allowed me to push my work in new directions and create objects that make me feel good.
