Bio:

My interest in clay as figurative art began in 2002, not long after having moved to Asheville, N.C. I am mainly self -taught. I have been a studio artist at the Odyssey Center for Ceramic Arts since 2005. Classes and workshops in life drawing and ceramic sculpture with highly skilled artists (Lisa Clague, Debra Fritts and Vadim Bora, to name a few) helped to prepare me for the path I am on now. I would describe myself at this juncture as an "emerging artist." I am also a member of the River Arts District and have been part of the River District Arts Stroll for the past two years. I hope to continue my relationship with clay for many more years. It is an art form that offers endless hours of joy, self-discovery and gratitude
