Susan is currently working as a photographer in Western NC. Although her background is in business and pharmacy, Susan has been an avid photo enthusiast since 1983. In 2002, she made a life altering decision and moved from her home in Florida to the Asheville area to pursue her dream – a career in photography.

Susan’s work has appeared in numerous issues of Our State Magazine, the Asheville Citizen-Times, Rapid River Magazine, and Bold Life Magazine, and has graced the covers of The Laurel of Asheville, The Laurel of Highlands, and Carolina Arts magazines.

Susan’s work has been on display at the Biltmore Estate, Grove Arcades Arts & Heritage Gallery, Bluewood Gallery, Hand in Hand Gallery, Asheville Area Arts Council, Henderson County Arts Council, Black Mountain Center for the Arts, Gallery 86, Pack Place, National Parks Conservation Association Asheville Field Office, the Cradle of Forestry in Pisgah National Forest, Transylvania County Arts Council, the NC Arboretum, Woolworth Walk and ArtWalk.

Susan is the founder of the Southern Appalachian Photographers Guild (SAPG), sits on the steering committee of f/32 Photography Group of Asheville and is a member of Carolina Nature Photographers Assocation (CNPA), and LOWCC. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and Golden Key Honor Society. Her work can be found in private collections world-wide.
