Hillary Frye Bio:
I have spent most of my years in North Carolina, but my hometown is Seneca, SC. I have been making art most of my life, getting particularly serious about it my freshman year of high school. I attended the SC Governor’s School for the Arts in Visual Arts in 11th grade and that is where I decided I wanted to make it into a career. I attended Appalachian State University and graduated in 2002 with a B.F.A. in Painting & Metals. I also obtained a B.S. in Art Management. My studio is in the basement of my house that I share with my husband, glass artist, Shane Smith, and my daughter Foster.
