Private Preview Party

Thursday, June 3 from 6-9 p.m., $25
Meet the On the Verge artists and get an advance viewing of the art installation before it opens to the public! Enjoy beer, wine, and food from Roots Café, The Market Place, and Sunny Point Café.

Entertainment throughout the night will feature local musicians Shane Perlowin, Lulo, DJ Christopher Ballard, and VJ Megan McKissack.

Opening Reception

The public reception of the On the Verge show is a special occasion with performances by funk and soul masters WestSound and HandCranked DJs Lance Wille and Suzie Millions.

River Arts District Studio Stroll

Saturday & Sunday, June 12 & 13 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., free
Visit the galleries and studios of more than 120 working artists in Asheville's River Arts District. Meet and view the works of painters, potters, sculptors, weavers, photographers, jewelers, and woodworkers. There will be great food and the Asheville Historic Trolley provides a free shuttle between studio buildings. The bi-annual opening of artists' studios to the public includes plenty of festivities and gives you a chance to view the work of emerging artists at the On the Verge exhibit.
