After a lengthy hiatus, the Hayes Performing Arts Center in Blowing Rock flipped on the spotlights this summer. The year’s lineup includes contemporary dance, as well as Broadway cabaret, innovative percussion, musical comedy, and opera. August holds an eclectic music schedule including The Bronx Wanderers, August 5 & 6; Broadway cabaret veteran Jeri Sager, August 13 & 14; and classical pianist Julian Gargiulo, August 21.
