Wilkesboro Open Air Market

Historic Downtown Wilkesboro is proud to announce the return of our weekly Open Air Market in the heart of historic downtown, which will offer “fresh from the farm” fruits, vegetables, plants, as well as “handcrafted” products.  Our focus is on supporting and sustaining the local farm and artisan community. The "regular" Open Air Market will occur every Friday afternoon from 4 pm until 8 pm, kicking off April 20th and continuing into Fall 2012 (*end date will be dependent on vendor supplies and harvest schedule and will be announced at a later date).

The Open Air Market will take place in the town-owned parking area located adjacent to the Wilkes Heritage Museum at 100 East Main Street.  We continue to strive to build a more sustainable local food network and buying culture.
