The Immigrant

Inspired by his grandmother’s photo album, Mark Herelik’s historical drama tells the true story of two Eastern European Jews forced to move to a small town in Texas through a 1909 government program that relocated thousands of immigrants to the American Southwest. This story portrays what many lost and unexpectedly gained from their new community.
