Swannanoa Rim Hike #6

Hikers can enjoy this moderate 3.5-mile trek along the Swannanoa Rim, hosted by the Swannanoa Valley Museum. The guided hike gains more than 1,230 feet of elevation, winding over Toe River Gap to Bald Knob, Potato Knob, Mitchell Trail, and Clingman’s Peak to end at Stepps Gap in Mount Mitchell State Park. Hikers should bring water and layers of clothing and be prepared to bushwhack through rhododendron thickets.
