Sourwood Festival

An estimated 30,000 people flock to this annual festival to celebrate the sourwood honey harvest. The Sourwood Idol talent contest kicks off the weekend Friday night. Saturday and Sunday offer music, dancing, and 200 vendors showcasing honey, art, and jewelry to soaps and toys. A children’s area will feature games, rides, and face painting.
