Portrait Drawing at Hickory Museum of Art

Matthew Good is an accomplished artist classically trained in drawing and painting. He continues to study with renowned fresco painter Ben Long in Asheville and Italy. Working with a model, Matthew will instruct the basics of good portraiture in the manner of the Old Masters. Please bring varying grades of vine charcoal, HB & 4B pencils, white pastel pencil, kneaded eraser, and light neutral pastel paper. Some experience in drawing is recommended.
