MusicFest ‘N Sugar Grove

Bluegrass bands pay homage to the late Doc Watson during this annual music festival. This year’s lineup includes the Kruger Brothers, Carolina Chocolate Drops, and Carolina Crossing, among 28 other bands. Proceeds benefit the Doc and Merle Watson Folk Art Museum at Historic Cove Creek High School, which stores artifacts and artwork related to the Watsons.
