Lake Lure Olympiad Sports Festival

This sports festival has something to suit all ages and athletic abilities, from the 1-Mile Family Fun Run at Lake Lure to the 3 Races in 3 Days featuring a 10K run, triathlon, and a race to Chimney Rock. A Junior Olympiad is offered for children ages four to 14. Proceeds go to area nonprofits, including fire departments, Boy Scouts, and emergency medical services.
