Independence Day at Lake Junaluska

Celebrate the Fourth of July at Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center with music, barbecue, a parade and dazzling fireworks. It’s the ultimate celebration for families of all ages in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.

7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, Lake Junaluska Singers, a 16-voice ensemble, directed by Dr. Melodie Galloway, will perform  “The Songs and Spirit of America” at the historic Stuart Auditorium.

11 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, Independence Day Parade starting at Lambuth Inn

Noon- 3 p.m., barbecue lunch at open air gym, face painting, inflatables, balloon artists, paddle boats, tour boat rides, swimming, tennis,  miniature golf, shuffle board, and walking paths.

1 p.m., Lake Junaluska Singers will perform the national anthem

7:30 p.m., Lake Junaluska Singers will perform  “The Songs and Spirit of America” at Stuart Auditorium.

9:45 p.m. grand finale fireworks display

7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, Andrew Peterson, singer/songwriter/author and illustrator will perform at Stuart Auditorium.

Tickets for the barbecue are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 4 to 11. Tickets for the Lake Junaluska Singers will be available online
