Heritage Comes Home

Grammy Award-winning guitarist Bryan Sutton returns home to Western North Carolina for a concert to help fund the preservation of the Southern Appalachian Archives at Mars Hill College. Sutton has recorded with Dolly Parton, Norah Jones, and Doc Watson. He also spent four years playing in Ricky Skagg’s band, Kentucky Thunder. Joining Sutton is Grammy-winning dobro player Jerry Douglas, International Bluegrass Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year Tim O’Brien, fiddle player Casey Driessen, and Dennis Crouch, who has recorded and performed with Johnny and June Carter Cash and Elvis Costello.
