Designer Showhouse

Glean design ideas from some of the Southeast’s most talented interior decorators at this showhouse. A 7,300-square-foot French country-style estate named Interlude has been revamped by talented designers, and will be open for tours. Two special events are offered in conjunction with the showhouse: Renowned decorator Carleton Varney will give a presentation at Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock on July 24, and floral designer Ron Morgan will host a luncheon lecture and demonstration at the Hendersonville Country Club on August 2. Proceeds benefit Historic Flat Rock, Inc., a nonprofit devoted to the preservation of historic houses, land, and scenic byways.
