Santa comes early this year for Christmas in July, a tradition that highlights the local Christmas tree industry with events including tree bailing and a wreath-making competition. The festival kicks off on Friday night with musical entertainment. On Saturday, there will be handmade crafts, a farmer’s market, and nearly 20 musical and dance performances on two stages. Civil War reenactments will take place at the municipal park.
