Join the Hickory Museum of Art in celebrating Arie Reinhardt Taylor's 91st birthday in the Entrance Gallery. The cake will be cut at 3 p.m. and is open to all ages.
The event coincides with the exhibition "The Catawba Valley Remembered: Paintings by Arie Reinhardt Taylor" which includes 24 folk paintings of rural life and local scenery and runs through September 16. A book of Arie's paintings and stories about her life will also be for sale.
